Crunch Creative were commissioned by Tree Surfers to develop their new brand identity for the high ropes adventure course at Tavistock. The brand needed to reflect the adrenalin fueled nature of the course and sit comfortably in the x-games environment. With a street edgy feel to the logo but emphasising the natural elements of the course a simple brand identity was formed and applied to signage and sales literature. Cheltenham based Petabytes commissioned Crunch Creative to design their new logo. Petabytes are a new company of IT consultants specialising in the storage and use of data. The company works with financial institutions in the UK and abroad and also have clients from the automotive and manufacturing industry.

 

Petabytes required a logo that defined the company’s vision and direction and signified bring order to chaos and keeping control of rapid data turnover of complex data.

Through a series of visuals and design development and whilst working closely with the petabytes team, crunch evolved the brand identity into a finished logo that reflects strength and order through the boxes of the brand connected by paths to the petabytes typography. The use of the slab serif font echoes the brand mark geometrical shapes and reinforces controlled and orderly nature of the business.
