The Blue Mile

Crunch have successfully implemented the brand identity and website for the blue mile. The UK’s newest mass-participation event is designed to engage people actively with our blue environment.

Two brand identities have been developed over 3 months including a corporate leading brand supported by an illustrative sub brand that will be used across all marketing devices. Crunch also implemented the design and production of the website which links through to display all the blue mile twitter feeds, youtube video, flickr photo’s and latest news.

In addition to this work crunch also worked closely with the blue mile team to develop display graphics for the launch event held at the Mayflower steps on Plymouth’s Barbican. Indoor exhibition graphics were designed and produced for the official launch, whilst a large format graphic arch was produced for the official media launch which was attended by Beijing windsurfing Olympic medallist Bryony Shaw, 2009 Vendée Globe yachtswoman Sam Davies and freediving world record holder Sara Campbell.

Crunch Creative were commissioned by Tree Surfers to develop their new brand identity for the high ropes adventure course at Tavistock. The brand needed to reflect the adrenalin fueled nature of the course and sit comfortably in the x-games environment. With a street edgy feel to the logo but emphasising the natural elements of the course a simple brand identity was formed and applied to signage and sales literature.
